Vietnam Visa-Free Entry Countries

Citizens of the following countries and regions may enter Vietnam visa-free, grouped by maximum stay duration. Visa-free entry is limited to tourism, family visits, and business purposes.

Visa-free entry is limited to short-term purposes such as tourism, family visits, and business. If you exceed the visa-free stay period, you must apply for a visa extension. Re-entry to Vietnam within 30 days of a previous visa-free entry requires a valid visa.

Electronic Visa (e-Visa)

Since August 15, 2023, Vietnam's e-Visa has been available to citizens of all countries and territories worldwide. The e-Visa can be applied for entirely online without visiting an embassy or consulate.
